Haramosh is the kind of valley that rewards those who venture off the standard northern circuit. While the crowds head to Hunza and Fairy Meadows, this route dips into a wilder, quieter corner of Gilgit-Baltistan — raw mountain tracks, a remote village, and a glacial lake so still it mirrors the peaks above it.
The approach alone is an adventure: an overnight drive through Naran Valley with stops at Lulusar Lake and Babusar Pass, followed by a jeep ride that rattles into the heart of the Haramosh massif. From there, a manageable trek leads to Kutwal Village — a base camp in every sense — before an early push the next morning to Kutwal Lake at the foot of the peaks.
There's no rush here. A full day at the lake means time to breathe, explore and simply be in the mountains. The return swings through Naran or Chilas before an easy drive back to the city — five days that feel far longer than they are.
Price: PKR 39,999 per person (group departures; private dates available).
